Back from holiday and back to work. Hedge cutting in Shaldon today. A busy week ahead for Stump Out.
What a another big week for stump out tree care, last week we remove a large conifer hedge and ground out the tree stumps using big stumpy and this week constructed a 36m feather edge fence witch I think looks great….. Ill see if i can upload a few pics
It’s been a really busy week for Stump Out. Site clearance work in Torquay, stump removal in Exeter, and tree surgery in Teignmouth Friday afternoon. What a lovely week to be working outdoors, shame tree surgery needs so much protective clothing to be worn! Hot hot hot!
We removed the largest tree stump to date today in Exmouth. 7 hours later, one 6ft diameter stump removed and one tired machine!
Off to Combeinteignhead tomorrow for some tree surgery.
What a great week for doing tree surgery on a site clearance job this week in Teignmouth. Stump Out Tree Care has another happy customer and I also got to use my new Husqvarna chainsaw and what a beast it is.
Always use a sharp pair of secateurs, loppers and a pruning saw
Start by removing crossing, rubbing, weak, dead, and diseased, damaged and dying branches.
Keep the centre of the tree open by removing larger branches with a sharp pruning saw. If several large branches need to be removed, spread the work over two or three winters as very hard pruning encourages even more vigorous growth.
Reduce the height and spread of any branches that have grown too large by cutting them back to a vigorous lower branch (making sure this lower branch is at least one-third of the diameter of the branch being removed.
